About Premier/Select Soccer
Selection to a Legacy FC Premier/Select team is a great accomplishment. To play at one of the highest levels of competition in the state can be very gratifying for many players and parents. Players will refine their talents and techniques with qualified professional coaches and/or trainers. If you are new to the Premier/Select program, one thing to understand is that Premier/Select soccer does take more commitment than Recreational soccer.
Premier/Select soccer can really be a foundation for a childs future in soccer. Selection onto a Premier/Select team can have a great lasting effect on each player. Specifically, many of these teams will play together for years to come.
Practices usually consist of 1.5 hours, 2x a week plus club training. Some teams will practice 3x a week and club training. Premier/Select soccer is a full year commitment. Players are financially responsible for and expected to participate in the fall and/or spring season, plus all of the team's scheduled tournaments.
OUR TEAMS
What do all the colors mean?
Maroon: These teams are the first to be selected within their age group. The level of play and competition is higher on these teams and if offered a spot on this team please make sure that you understand what is expected.
Silver: These teams may have a slightly lower commitment & level of play & competition than Maroon teams, but not always since the goal of these teams is to develop players to move up to the Maroon team
White: The players on these teams may be a mixture of multi-sport athletes, players not ready to compete at a higher level or players who have set their goals on moving to the Silver or Maroon teams.
All players have access to all club training, coaches and events.
